I am inspired by the world that reveals itself when we zoom in. I call the small landscapes thus created micoscapes.
The sunlight shining through the mushroom on this autumn day gives the impression that it is illuminated from within. The green (costume) moss a few millimetres high paints a picture of an overgrown hilly landscape.
The image is composed of 121 photos's. Each photo is always in focus in a different part of the image. Combining them (focus stacking) creates a detailed photo that offers more sharpness than is possible in a single photograph.
This photo was taken at the Oisterijkse Vennen, Tilburg (NL) in autumn 2023.
