About ‘Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam.’ by Ron Petterson

On a beautiful, sunny Saturday morning in January 2025, you visited the iconic Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen in Rotterdam. The sky was bright blue and the winter sun was shining brightly, giving a unique glow to the surroundings. Despite the sun, there was still a thin layer of ice on the water surrounding the building. This created an enchanting spectacle, with the ice crystals sparkling and the museum majestically reflected on the frozen surface.

I walked slowly across the bridge that led to the entrance, enjoying the serene silence that only a winter morning could offer. With my camera in hand, I searched for the perfect moment to capture. And there it was: the reflection of the museum's modern architecture on the smooth ice, with the sun's rays shooting through the air like golden arrows.

I stayed put and pressed the shutter button, knowing I had just captured something magical. The photo captured not only the building, but also the play of light and ice, a moment of pure winter splendour. As I lowered the camera again, I felt a deep sense of satisfaction. This was a moment I would cherish forever - a memory of a bright, cold morning in Rotterdam, where the beauty of art and nature came together seamlessly.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
