Movement by the Sea"
A dance of time, reflection and human rhythm at the waterline.
In this intriguing coastal image, multiple moments are captured in one. The figures seem to fade, speed up and stand still at the same time - as if time itself is walking along the beach. The reflection in the wet sand doubles this experience, while the sunlight shines in the waves and the sky glows in soft shades of orange.
Combining Photoshop with Corel Painter X3 creates a surreal effect that harmoniously intertwines realism and painting. The brush-like texture and layered movement give the work a dynamism that continues to fascinate, leaving room for interpretation: is it memory? Is it a dream?
Material recommendation:
Acrylic glass. For deep colours, glassy sheen and extra depth effect enhances reflection and movement.
Aluminium. Sleek clear and robust, matches the graphic character and technical finesse of the processing.
Canvas. or Art frame. Gives the bay a softer touch, emphasising its painterly feel.
Format recommendation:
A wide format (e.g. 105×70 cm or larger) accentuates the horizontal movement of the walkers and the sea. Hang the work at eye level above a sofa or console to make the most of the visual layering.
