Mountain cross, Koblat at Laufbichelsee, Allgäu Alps by Walter G. Allgöwer

Born on a warm July day, in the midst of the majestic Allgäu Alps, captured in a self-made panoramic photo, a picture shines that touches the soul. A bright blue sky stretches across the panorama, unclouded by any gloom, gently kissed by clouds. Individual, fluffy fair-weather clouds dance across the firmament like heavenly messengers, lending the picture an aura of lightness and light-heartedness.
A wooden mountain cross sits enthroned in the centre of this natural spectacle, a symbol of the connection with nature and the heights of life. It stands proudly on the Koblat High Trail, which runs like a path of enlightenment between the Nebelhorn and the Big Thumb. In its shade, the soul finds peace and contemplation, while the view sweeps far over the rolling green hills and the majestic peaks of the Allgäu Alps.
The Allgäu, this piece of Bavaria, this heart of Europe, is captured here in all its splendour. The air is filled with the pure beauty of nature, with a hint of adventure and freedom. Every detail in the photo tells a story, every line, every colour tone blends harmoniously into the overall picture and creates a masterpiece of nature photography.
Captured in the moment, the panoramic photo immortalises the beauty and majesty of the Allgäu Alps, embedded in the endless expanse of the Bavarian sky and the European spirit. It is a tribute to nature, to the beauty of our world and to the memories we find in it.
