An old courtyard gate made of wood and stone stands open - not inviting in the classic sense, but open like a book whose pages have become wavy from the rain. The brick pillars are marked by wind and time, fragile and yet full of character. At the base of the left-hand pillar, an inset stone bears the number "15" - like a silent note from the past that insists on not being overlooked.
🌿 The gate leads into an overgrown piece of land, overgrown with tall grass and framed by treetops that bend under the weight of dark clouds. The scenery seems deserted, almost forgotten - and yet it tells of permanence. Of a place that has been seen. Was loved. Perhaps never spectacular, but deeply meaningful.
This third motif closes the series like an epilogue: quiet, dignified, full of atmosphere. It is the image of a place that is no longer alive - but has not died either. For where nature returns, memory also begins to blossom.
