Actually a rather simple photo I took in Martil, a coastal town of Tétouan in Morocco. Still, this variant of Moroccan Brutalism has something going for it. The seagulls betray that there is water nearby after all, and the flat at the centre of the picture shows the first signs of erosion on the white concrete. It is an apartment complex that can be found anywhere in Morocco and I suspect anywhere along the north African coast.
The atmosphere of the photo is urban and reminiscent of the coast, without actually seeing the beach and the sea. Perhaps the red beach umbrella and the tent that strongly reminds you of a beach pavilion, next to the seagulls, does it justice.
This photo fits into an office building that wants to set a different mood than your ordinary flower. You really have to dare to include this photo in a modernist interior design.
