The sun is trying to get through.
It is still early in the morning.
A few rays of sun hit the yellow reeds along the waterfront. The sky reflects in the flat water of the lake "It Nannewiid" which lies near Oudehaske.
A small village in Friesland.
The jetty is still a little white from the frost.
It is still quiet.
The birds have yet to wake up. All I can hear is the crunching of the frozen grass under my feet.
I have my camera with me and look at the surroundings, details and light.
I decide to do a double exposure. Also called a "Double Exposure".
I also pay close attention to the horizon.
The photo must become a whole.

I want to capture the reed with the beautiful sunlight in the picture. I print and look back at the photo.

As a photographer I like to capture images that people can enjoy. This can be nature photos but also abstract photos.
