About ‘A jetty behind the reeds’ by Grietje van der Reijnst

What a special morning it was.
It had been freezing, the sun was rising and the grass was white with frost.
On the way I drove past this beautiful lake in Friesland, near the town of Oudehaske.
The name of the lake is It Nannewiid.
I stopped to take some pictures of this beautiful location.
It is always beautiful there! Not only in winter but also in summer. Especially when the sun goes down.
There are many people who have taken pictures of the beautiful sunsets here.
In the winter you will always find the first skaters here because the ice holds up here as quickly. This is because the lake is very shallow.
This photo I made with the "double exposure". This means that I have made two photos here through each other.
First I photographed the jetty and then the lake. This gives you a special dynamic in the picture.
Because of my special processing you get the mysterious atmosphere in the picture.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
