About ‘Morning light at the Hoge and Lage der A, Groningen’ by Michelle Wever

As a portrait photographer from Groningen, I prefer to plan my shoots in the early morning, when the light is soft and magical and the streets are still quiet. One of my favourite spots is the Visserbrug on the Hoge en Lage der A, where I took this photo on an early morning in late summer, early autumn. The city slowly awakens, the morning sun gives a golden glow to the trees and water, and the historic buildings reflect beautifully in the canal. This almost picturesque scene, with those warm, golden hues, makes me so proud to live in this beautiful city.
