In this case we decided to go for a long walk on the Veluwe and we left our non wintery village, not a snowflake in sight and we arrived at this forest and there was not just snow, but a dense fog started to build up. This is in fact my only picture in my entire portfolio with humans in the image. I usually prevent this at all costs, because I go to the forest to escape from the humdrum of everyday life, to find stillness and being an introvert I refuel when I am alone. In this case these people added to the feeling of stillness and so just this once I decided to create this image with them walking down the path. Beautiful oak trees with some autumn leaves still hanging on frame this winter wonderland image.
