The mill is called Roe in 1100 and is located in Amsterdam-Osdorp. The name comes from the distance to the Haarlemmerpoort. Roe is an ancient measure of distance. The mill is a so-called polder. In 1961 the mill was moved to the Sportpark Ookmeer.
