About the artwork

Molen de Adriaan: an ode to Haarlem. This shot shows the iconic Molen de Adriaan, located on the Spaarne in Haarlem. A place where history, tranquillity and character come together. The reflection in the water, the classic facades and the soft colors of the sky create a balanced composition that exudes both strength and serenity.

As a photographer and Haarlemmer, I feel a strong connection to this location. I deliberately chose a moment when the light was soft and the wind quiet, allowing the water to act as a mirror. This creates an image that is not only visually appealing, but also evokes a sense of stillness.

At home, I edit my photos with great pleasure and dedication. Every detail gets attention, so that the final result is not only technically correct, but also conveys the mood and emotion of the moment. It is my goal to create images that touch people, works of art that tell a story and deserve a lasting place on your wall.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
