About the artwork

View from the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park towards the coastal town of Calpe and its marina.

The Peñón de Ifach is a wonderful vantage point on the Mediterranean coast. Hiking through the nature reserve offers a bird's eye view of the Mediterranean Sea and the landscape of the northern Costa Blanca. This is where opposites meet. Nature meets a touristic region.

On the one hand, the port of Calpe offers space for the traditional boats of the fishermen. On the other hand, it is a popular marina where numerous sailing boats and motor boats are moored. I love observing the white boats, the blue sea water and the urban architecture from the elevated position.

In general, the Peñón de Ifach Natural Park is considered the symbol of Calpe. In the past it was used by the locals as an observation post and to protect the coast against pirates. It was part of a surveillance system on the Valencian coast. Today it is a popular destination for hikers and climbers.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
