About ‘Max-Brauer-Allee’ by Heinrich Wimmer
Max-Brauer-Allee is the name of the long street in Hamburg, that leads from Altona to the north of Sternschanze. At the crossing with Stresemannstrasse it is diagonally traversed by the steel bridge Sternbruecke, that exists in the present shape since 1926. In 1946 Max Brauer was elected as the First Mayor of Hamburg.
