The Maserati 3500 GT is one of the most important and beautiful Italian grand tourers ever created — the car that transformed Maserati from a pure racing concern into a manufacturer of supremely elegant, road-going grand touring automobiles, and in doing so helped define the very essence of the Italian GT car.
Introduced in 1957 and bodied predominantly by Carrozzeria Touring of Milan in their celebrated Superleggera construction, the 3500 GT wears coachwork of outstanding beauty — long, flowing flanks, a perfectly proportioned roofline, a distinctive oval grille, and elegantly restrained chrome detailing that speaks of confidence rather than ostentation. Vignale also produced alternative coachwork of considerable distinction.
At the heart of the car sits a magnificent 3.5-litre twin-cam inline six-cylinder engine derived directly from Maserati's racing heritage, producing around 220 horsepower and delivering its power with a gloriously sonorous, mechanical intensity utterly unique to the marque.
A five-speed ZF gearbox channels power to the rear wheels with precision and satisfaction, while the independent front suspension and live rear axle provide a driving experience that balances genuine sporting ability with long-distance grand touring comfort.

Inside, the cabin is a beautifully crafted environment of the finest leather, polished aluminium instruments, and elegant woodwork — intimate, purposeful, and deeply Italian in its atmosphere and execution.Rare, charismatic, and breathtakingly handsome, the Maserati 3500 GT remains one of the supreme achievements of the golden age of Italian coachbuilding — a car of enduring beauty, character, and historical significance.
