About ‘Marionette Burlesque’ by Arjen Roos

"Marionette Burlesque" is a staged work of art in which a woman dressed in 1920s style appears on stage as a marionette.

Although there is a story behind this work, I deliberately do not want to share details, leaving the viewer free to let his or her own imagination run wild. This invites personal interpretation and makes the artwork interactive with the viewer.

This artwork is an excellent reflection of my own style, in which different contrasts of light, colour and content come together. The play of light and shadow, the colourful elements and the use of the colour red create visual impact and intriguing contrasts.

"Marionette Burlesque" invites the viewer to be drawn into the atmosphere and meaning of the work. It brings together the worlds of burlesque and theatre in a staging that is both fascinating and intriguing.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
