Making the Band Trifecta P-Funktum, is inspired from the days of my youth. When there was a Punk movement and young people were in a squatters' movement. That there was violence between young people and squatters. So much was happening politically back then. Just like now actually. Only the Punks looked a bit tougher, bolder and intimidating! But also super cool. Think Vivienne Westwood, Malcom McClaren, U2, Depeche Mode, Prince etc. Really tried to capture that vibe from that era. So lol nostalgic, cool, bold and daring! Seize the day, enjoy life, be yourself, and dare to speak out, remember who you are and what you stand for! I made a lot of work as a teenager to music that inspired me and a lot I kept with in the back of my mind this is what I want to have wall-to-wall later. So I must have an overhead projector etc. etc. not knowing that technology would make things so much easier. So a lot of the things I make are inspired by the things I made as a teenager where today's technology allows me to go further and further and deeper. The possibilities are endless and you can sometimes make really cool things. Which of course are fun to share. Actually, I don't really manage to get inspired anymore without the things I used to make. You have to start somewhere and now it's starting to come again so that's super awesome! Furthermore, I hope it will appeal to others as well. It's from a different time though, everything is so neat and tidy and everyone looks pretty much the same and are looking for perfection. Which doesn't exist! It is much more beautiful and fun when everything is not so perfect.
