About ‘Panorama of the Zeeland dunes in evening light’ by Sander Poppe

From a high dune near Dishoek, this sweeping view of the Zeeland coast unfolded before me. Here, the beach, dunes, North Sea and horizon merge almost imperceptibly. It is a landscape that you cannot take in at a single glance, but discover gradually as your gaze wanders along the coastline.

The sun had by now disappeared from view, but its last rays were still visible in the sky. Soft shades of yellow appeared amongst the clouds, lending the dune landscape a warm glow. The beacons along the coast, the small beach pavilion and the characteristic rows of posts added recognisable Zeeland features without disturbing the tranquillity of the scene.

For this panorama, several photographs were stitched together to form a single image. It is precisely this technique that really brings out the vastness of this coastal landscape. It shows just how much space there is along this coast.

The combination of dunes, sea, sky and horizon creates a calm and balanced composition. The panorama brings the openness of the Dutch coast indoors and fits beautifully into an interior where tranquillity, natural tones and a sense of space are important.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
