Mahachai Market, also known as Maeklong Railway Market or Talad Rom Hoob, is a unique market in Thailand that is known for its unusual location. Mahachai Market has been in existence for over 100 years. Originally, it was a local market in the Samut Songkhram region, selling mainly fish. A few years after the market opened, the government decided to build a railway line to transport the fish catch from the coastal region to the capital Bangkok. When it became clear that the railway line would run through the middle of the market, the traders did not want to give up their market and decided to simply stay. As a result, the market is now one of the most unusual sights in Thailand. Mahachai Market is known for its unique location on an active railway line. Several times a day, a train passes through the market and the vendors have to move their stalls aside and fold up their umbrellas to make room for the train. This unique spectacle attracts many tourists and has made the market a popular tourist attraction. In addition, the Mahachai Market is still an important place for local trade. A variety of goods are sold here, including fruits, vegetables, meat and especially fish and seafood from the region. Mahachai Market is a fascinating example of the adaptability and creativity of the Thai people. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
