Mackenrode is a small village in the German state of Thuringia. I found this village so beautiful to photograph because it looks so authentic. There are almost no roofs with solar panels to be seen, nor are there any large sheds or factory premises. It is beautifully situated between the meadows and wooded hills of Thuringia.
I got my first camera on my 8th birthday. Now, many cameras later, I have ended up with a 'full-frame' mirrorless camera and my passion for photography has become an important part of my life.
