About "MSC container ship Santhya Vlissingen"

About the artwork

I took this photo of container ship MSC Santhya during sunset as it passed along the Vlissingen coastline and set course towards Zoutelande. I shot a series but tried to time them so that the sun fell behind the imposing container ship, thus highlighting the ship's back which made for a nice image. At the time of taking this picture, I was sitting by the wind organ, a familiar spot where people come to relax, watch the sunset but also the shipping that passes the shoreline there at a very short distance. Sometimes ships pass by so briefly that as a calderer you almost feel you can touch the ships, a nice place to sit and watch the shipping. The soft colours in the sky completed this dreamy image for me, a soothingly powerful image for the wall !

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
