Panoramic shot of Lower Manhattan New York as seen from Brooklyn park with the Manhattan Bridge on the right and the Brooklyn Bridge on the left.
Early in the morning, I set out with the aim of taking a beautiful panoramic photo of Manhattan's imposing skyline. Armed with camera and tripod, I took a taxi towards the Brooklyn Bridge. From there, it was a short walk to the spot I had in mind, Brooklyn Park.
Once I arrived, it was careful maneuvering to the perfect spot. It was still dark and the little beach was full of loose stones and a slip here is easy.
Eventually, I had reached the water's edge of the East River and was able to set up my camera and tripod. This morning it was almost windless and the river was as smooth as a mirror. Using a nodal rail , a tool for panoramic photography, I took some shots here. On my camera it already looked great, I can do something with that at home. After taking enough shots, I was able to pack everything up again and went in search of a good coffee shop.
As always, I edit all the shots I take during my travels from behind my desk at home. This is because there I have access to a powerful PC with the necessary photo editing programs to make the shots suitable for your wall.
