A dramatic perspective from street level, where London's modern architecture rises powerfully towards the sky. This photograph was taken in London's financial district, a place where glass, steel and ambition converge.
Your gaze is drawn upwards along clean lines, gleaming facades and complex structures. On the right, you see the iconic Lloyd's Building, with its futuristic tubes and lifts on the outside - a masterpiece of high-tech architecture. On the left, you see the sharp lines of modern office towers, their windows subtly reflecting the sunlight and surrounding buildings.
The composition symbolises progress, innovation and urban power. The contrast between the cool metal surfaces and the bright blue sky light gives the image a sense of optimism and energy. The picture was created during a morning walk in the city, the moment the first light hit the buildings and brought their shapes to life.
With this image, I wanted to show the overwhelming beauty of modern architecture - but also the feeling of being small as a human being in this world of skyscrapers and grand ideas. A tribute to the city that never stands still.
