About ‘Look to be seen’ by Yvonne Smits

Looking at it to be looked at. Retro television standing on a lawn with clouds above it. A surrealistic image with elements in both color and black and white. The inspiration came from the fact that we spend many hours watching TV. I imagined what it would look like if the TV started watching back.

Yvonne Smits was born in 1962. She got her first camera for her 6th birthday. Photography is a real passion. Several of her photos have been published in photo magazines and travel guides in the Netherlands. In 2008 one of her photos was shown at the Saatchi exhibition in Cannes during the Sony World Photography Awards. She has also won several awards at photo competitions and held several exhibitions. At the moment she has a full-time job and is a freelance photographer…

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
