Litlanesfoss is a breathtaking waterfall located in the Héraðsskógar Nature Reserve in northeast Iceland. This hidden gem, with a height of about 30 metres, is surrounded by impressive basalt columns formed by volcanic activity. The waterfall's unique geology makes it an ideal destination for nature lovers and photographers looking for a place that exudes both power and beauty.
The waterfall is accessible via a short, 1.5-kilometre trail, which takes you through a forested landscape. The contrast between the green nature and the black basalt columns creates a magical atmosphere that brings the area to life. Litlanesfoss offers a beautiful photographic moment, with the water flowing powerfully over the basalt columns, surrounded by pristine nature.
