About the artwork

A lion is a majestic animal that is known above all for its strength, elegance and fearlessness. It has a massive build with strong muscles and an impressive mane that makes it an imposing adversary. Its coat is usually sand-coloured or golden-brown, which gives it perfect camouflage in the savannah.

The lion's head is broad and strong, with a pronounced jaw and sharp teeth. Its eyes radiate intelligence and determination, while its ears are always alert in all directions to detect possible prey or danger.

The lion moves with impressive strength and grace. Its gait is powerful and its strides are supple. It can run very fast and is therefore a successful hunter. Despite its size and strength, the lion is able to sneak up on its prey silently and almost invisibly.

The king of beasts lives in groups, which are known as prides. The male leader, the lion king or lion maker, takes the lead and defends his territory against intruders. The females are responsible for hunting and provide food for the pride.

The lion is a symbol of power, strength and courage. Its imposing appearance has made it a central figure in many cultures and myths.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
