Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Lighthouse "The Horse of Marken"’ by ingrid schot

On a beautiful day in August 2024, we sailed the sloop from Almere towards Marken.
Marken was a former island in the IJsselmeer and connected to the mainland via a dam since 1957.

The goal was a photo from the water of the lighthouse "The Horse of Marken".
The lighthouse is a favourite subject of photographers and tourists alike

With a beautiful Dutch blue sky and white clouds, the picture could hardly get more beautiful.

It is definitely worth docking the boat and visiting the village of Marken.
Characteristic are the wooden houses on stilts and the so-called Werven on which people live.
With a bit of luck, you will still meet people in the distinctive Marker costume.
Especially on Sundays when people go to church.

But Volendam, with its famous dike and delicious fresh fish, is also a stone's throw away.

So ....... if you are boating anyway, 2 birds with one stone.
