Freezing cold it was. The Monday I took this photo.
Monday mornings are always quiet and peaceful in the forest. Most people are back at work. And you can tell.
I didn't come across anyone at all. As I passed these trees, I noticed that they exuded a certain atmosphere. Which I captured in my photo. The silence, the peace, as if it has always been like this. No human has ever walked by here.
Year after year they stand here in winter and in summer. In complete peace and tranquillity.
