About "Light energy"

About the artwork

The painting, which is in bright orange tones and has an original format of 80 × 80 cm, explores the fascinating subject of light energy. It illustrates the idea that energy can be generated simply by the presence of photons, or light. The scene focuses on the sky, which has an almost cathedral-like appearance and is embedded in a basic spiral structure. Bright light radiates from the centre of the sky and floods the entire painting, making it permeated and dominated by light.

In the foreground of the painting are three people on the right, placed on a ledge in an orange area. On the left side, there is a single childlike figure that appears to be on a slope or hill, blending seamlessly with the central area of the painting, which depicts a multitude of blue trees. The people appear as if they are from another world or time and look at the light energy with wonder and amazement.

For us as viewers, this may mean that we have perhaps not yet fully understood the wonder of light and its energy. The depiction of people who do not seem to grasp this light energy highlights our current insecurity in dealing with this energy source. The painting emphasises the power and wonder of light and its energy and challenges the viewer to reflect on the mightiness and mystery of light. It reminds us how much we can still learn about this fascinating energy source.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
