The Rembrandtbrug and mill de Put are reflected in the galgewater of Leiden. The picture was taken about an hour after sunset, still showing the last light in the sky. This is close to the birthplace of famous Dutch painter Rembrandt van Rijn. The galgewater (gallow water) received its name after the condemned people that where hung here is the old days.
