Martinair is a Dutch airline founded on 24 May 1958 by Martin Schröder and John Block under the name Martin's Air Charter. In 1966, the name was changed to 'Martinair Holland'. Since 31 December 2008, Martinair has been part of the KLM Group and thus also part of the Air France-KLM holding company. Since November 2011, Martinair is still exclusively a cargo airline. Passenger services and associated staff have been transferred to parent company KLM.
Martinair's fleet consists of 4 Boeing 747's, 3 in KLM colours and 1 in Martinair colours.
