About the artwork

Lake Gérardmer in January. It had been snowing for the past few days. Which made this the largest natural lake in the Vosges Mountains in France a beautiful sight. Enjoyment... indeed with the capital G.

It is a glacial lake located at an altitude of 660 metres, close to the city centre. In winter, the frozen lake is visible from the ski resort's slopes, a magnificent spectacle! This according to the website of https://www.france-voyage.com/frankrijk-toerisme/het-gerardmer-823.htm.

When the temperature is pleasant enough to take to the water, water sports are plentiful. Pedal boats, canoeing, sailing, rowing, pedalos; or swimming at the landscaped beaches. Moreover, there are kayaking and rowing competitions. Or get comfortable and rent a motorboat to enjoy the beautiful surrounding landscapes.

A landscaped 7-kilometre trail offers the opportunity to walk around it in 1½ to 2 hours. As part of the trail is somewhat steep, it is recommended to wear good shoes.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
