Max Kurzweil was an Austrian painter and graphic artist in the Art Nouveau style. This painting involves a digital image processing in which the hard saturated colors of the original have been softened to pastel shades and combined with natural floral motifs as we know them from the Art Nouveau style. A creative twist on a well-known work of art by an old master.

A beautiful woman in a cheerful, yellow dress, is perched on an Art Nouveau bench with many flowers. She has draped her dress nicely over the sofa and her arms extend to either side, giving this woman a very confident pose. Her arms, dress and couch all emphasize the horizontal nature of this painting, making it seem as if this painting is divided into 3 planes. In addition, from the bottom of the skirt to her head, you can draw an imaginary circle within which the most important things in the painting happen. Important colors in this painting are pastel colors in shades of old pink, happy yellow, blue and green.
