About the artwork

LET THE SUNSHINE IN is about a girl who hangs up balloons to brighten up the world. She wants to bring some warm sunlight into her gloomy surroundings.

The original painting was made on a large canvas.

I am a Mixed Media artist. Mixed media art is the mixing of different creative media to create work that incorporates two or more art forms. Mixed media is about breaking the boundaries between different art forms. Artworks can be made on canvas, paper or cardboard.

Children inspire me. Their ability to transcend any difficult situation is amazing. Playing tag in the ruins of a bombed-out city. Playing football in the most miserable neighborhoods. They are always looking for the light. They save the future that our generations really messed up and don't even blame us for it. If only we could keep the child in ourselves a bit more, we wouldn't be in such a mess. Art can help us find our childlike innocence again

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
