About ‘Kerkbrug Voorburg’ by Barbara Koppe

Deze boot vaart onder de open kerkbrug van Voorburg door. Langs Voorburg loop de Vliet, ook wel de Haagvliet of trekvliet of het Rijn-Schiekanaal genoemd. De brug gaat zo nu en dan open om boten door te laten. De oude haven van Voorburg heeft onlangs een flinke opknapbeurt gekregen zodat er meer boten kunnen aanmeren. Vanaf het terras van restaurant Bernard kun je heerlijk de hele dag bootjes kijken. Deze foto is genomen vanaf de overkant. Als de burg weer sluit kom je rechts via de Kerkstaat het oude centrum, oftewel het Huygenskwartier in.
