About the artwork

This close-up shows a Red tiger bittern with its distinctive reddish-brown plumage, bright yellow eye and long, black bill with yellow trim. The bird looks sharply into the distance, with subtle white stripes on its throat and plumes on its head. Background is a soft, green haze of wetland vegetation, which adds to the details of the feathers and the intense gaze. The photo was taken in the wetlands of Mato Grosso, Brazil.

During a boat trip through the Pantanal in Mato Grosso, I saw this young tiger heron standing among the reeds - that mix of curiosity and alertness in his gaze grabbed me, and I wanted to capture that as a portrait of the young nature there.

The photo exudes calm vigilance, with a touch of mystery through the green background. It feels intimate and wild at the same time, as if you stepped into this bird's world for a moment.

I used a telephoto lens for a sharp close-up without distorting, with natural light to keep the colours warm. The composition focuses on the eye as the centre, for that instant connection.

This work brings a subtle wildlife portrait into the home, perfect for a bedroom or work corner. The earthy brown tones and green accents suit natural or peaceful decor, and it adds a personal, adventurous touch to the wall.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
