Analogue photograph of a jetty.
The jetty's clean lines contrast with the organic shapes of the water around it. The texture of the water and the reflection of the light give the work an almost abstract quality, while the simplicity of the jetty leads the eye to a single fixed point.
The sculpture emphasises the theme of time and impermanence, with the jetty as a silent witness to both human presence and the constant movement of nature around it.
