About ‘Jeanne has become a smoker painting’ by John AZOK

I wanted to revisit the figure of the knight by injecting it with a rebellious, contemporary attitude. The armour becomes a symbol of emancipation, the cigarette a gesture of insubordination. The word "UNREAL" underlines a heroine between myth and modernity, between strength and casualness.
