The Jaguar X300 is the fifth generation of the XJ series and, from autumn 1994 to 1997, the successor to the Jaguar XJ40. It was the first Jaguar model to be developed entirely in-house by Ford following its takeover of Jaguar Cars in 1989. A total of 92,038 units were produced across the entire series and all model variants.
