The Cinque Terre consists of five villages along the Italian Riviera coast close to La Spezia in Liguria in Italy. The Cinque Terre consists of the five villages of Monterosso al Mare, Vernazza, Corniglia, Manarola and Riomaggiore. The villages were included on the UNESCO World Heritage List in 1997. The photos're taken in October 2023, partly from the coast and partly while walking in and near the various villages. While walking in the villages we visited by train from Levanto, to really get a good idea of the villages perched against the cliffs, we decided to take a boat trip between two of the five villages. Of that, these photos're the reflection. In retrospect, perhaps we should have set aside more time to visit the villages. If you ever visit take the time to do so. At least two days seems necessary to me to feel like you have seen everything. In the meantime, have fun!
