About ‘It's just a suggestion. You don't have to follow.’ by Csilla Albert

I often reflect on the dynamic between teacher and student. There are areas where our students will inevitably surpass us, and others where they still need our foundational guidance. This unique balance heavily inspired my latest digital piece, which explores our complex, modern relationship with Artificial Intelligence.

So, this work is a digital exploration of our complex relationship with Artificial Intelligence. Inspired by my experience, this artwork visualizes the delicate balance between guidance and autonomy:
AI can provide paths and suggestions, but the human mind holds the ultimate choice. We are connected, but we have to be the masters of our own decisions.

We are deeply intertwined with this technology—constantly questioning how much we should depend on it or trust it. The glowing, tangled lines in the artwork visualize this interconnected digital web and the mental noise that comes with it.

Ultimately, AI outputs are merely recommendations, a fact often whispered in the fine print at the end of their responses. They are suggestions woven into our daily lives, but the ultimate choice and human autonomy always remain ours.
