About "Island and clear water in a rocky bay"

About the artwork

On the Mediterranean coast in Jávea, I am fascinated by the bay of Portitxol. I particularly enjoy spending time on the cliffs of Cap Prim, where I can admire the clear sea water from an elevated position.

I am inspired by the dreamlike blue tones of the crystal-clear water, the gentle waves, the subtle reflections of the sunlight and the rock formations near the shore. I find the abstract effects that I see in the natural textures and subtle movements of the water surface very appealing. For me, flowing water represents the beauty of nature, which is characterised by constant movement and change.

A particular eye-catcher is the island called Isla del Portitxol, which rises majestically out of the sea. The island, which is around 300 metres long, is of great botanical and archaeological importance. It is the habitat of numerous bird species and rare plants. The islet is a dreamlike place where the unspoilt nature has been preserved. With this photo, I would like to bring the relaxing effect of the seawater and the view of the Isla del Portitxol into your home.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
