The flowers still speak softly as summer fades away. The series 'Indian summer whispers' is about the beauty of impermanence.

This work shows an almost transparent hydrangea, whose petals have turned into a lacy network of veins. The fragile structure and soft tones give the work a gentle, almost dreamlike feel.

This work arose from my fascination with the moment after flowering. Flowers that are no longer at their peak, but show new beauty precisely in their transience. I wanted to capture the fragility of the hydrangea at this stage before it disappears.

The image breathes tranquillity and stillness, a gentle farewell to summer. For me, this work is about the beauty of letting go, about the stillness that comes after bloom and colour. It is an invitation to turn inwards and appreciate the details that often escape our notice.

Instead of photographing, I scanned the hydrangea itself. This brings the fine textures into focus, razor-sharp and intimate, as if you can almost touch the veins. It gives a dreamy atmosphere, unlike anything a photograph would do.

This work brings a soft and natural elegance to the home. It fits beautifully in an interior that exudes calm and simplicity, but also in a room where, on the contrary, an eye for detail and refinement is important. Because of its neutral tones, it combines well with natural materials such as wood, linen or stone.
