Marlies van den Hurk Bakker
Velsen, Netherlands
Marlies van den Hurk-Bakker studied biology at the University of Amsterdam. She found work at the Eerste Christelijk Lyceum in Haarlem. She teaches in biology there since 2009. In her spare time, the passion for biology reflected in nature photography, where she spends many hours in the field to get different species on the photo. Some of her photographs are used by different agencies for flyers, posters and identification guides as well as to the subject of 10voorBiologie.
