The Scarlet Macaw is a beautifully red, yellow-blue parrot native to moist, evergreen forests of South America with a striking red body colour.
Witness the stunning beauty of this macaw lovebird pair, playing with each other in their natural habitat.
I discovered the Scarlet Macaw, because of their beauty of colour and that it is an excellent all-round pet to adopt as a work of art, which will prove to be worth its weight in gold.
With this artwork, I bring my inspiration and love of Scarlet Macaw through the mixed media art technique, which is produced in the year 2021 and consists of papier-mâché, canvas, hard cardboard, acrylic paint, with the dimensions height 50 cm x width 70 cm x thickness 3.0 cm.
This art technique is the ideal one, because of its beautiful shapes, visible and tactile details, which when viewed make it feel as if the characters stepped out of the panel into the world, because of the many relative art details that emerge such as the colour pattern of the red plumage, light blue rump and tail coverts, yellow larger upper wing feathers dark blue upper sides of wing tip and tail feathers, dark red metallic gold iridescence on the underside of wing and tail feathers, bare white skin around the eye from there to the beak, face patch with small white feathers with on the upper jaw lightly horned and black lower jaw that are based on photo-realistic, figurative feelings for Flora and Fauna from the Amazon region.
