About ‘Iceland – Looming over the landscape in all its colourful splendour’ by Petra Peters
Iceland – Landmannalaugar – Ominous skies lend a distinctive charm to the landscape. The colours stand out even more beautifully; the yellow-green of the grass seems to leap off the picture. The mountains are further accentuated by the dark skies.

Petra Peters
Purmerend, Netherlands
I love adventure, exploring new countries and taking photographs. My work is characterised by colourful or, conversely, tranquil images of nature. I often use a combination of sharp and blurred areas in my photographs because I feel that this makes my subject ‘stand out’, as it were.
