Tips for use

This expressive, abstract, one-of-a-kind piece was inspired by Rose Ausländer’s poem of the same name, ‘Ich warte Rot’. I wanted to translate the deep, emotional longing and the lyrical tension of the text into a visual language.

I don’t limit myself to any one medium. I’m passionate about painting with watercolours, but I also enjoy working with acrylics on canvas and digital painting on a graphics tablet. My subjects vary too. I particularly enjoy nature scenes, abstract paintings and images of angels, which are very close to my heart.
I use colour as an emotional tool to fill spaces with positive energy and create an atmosphere of clarity and comfort.
