The Huysburg Monastery (Benedictine Priory of the Assumption of Mary into Heaven) is a Benedictine monastery at an altitude of about 300 metres on the Huy, a wooded ridge north of the Harz mountains and nine kilometres north-west of Halberstadt in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt. Under state law, the Huysburg Benedictine Monastery belongs to the diocese of Magdeburg, but is exempt within it. Its patron saint is Mary. Huysburg is the first stop on the Way of St James in the Harz region and lies on the southern route of the Romanesque Route.
