These wild Camargue horses were photographed in the Camargue (southern France). It was chosen to shoot very early in the morning so that there is very nice light. Camargue horses are characterised as a very strong temperamental breed. They have dark brown foals that take three to four years to turn into these beautiful white horses. I photographed these horses very intensively over a full week in the Camargue. Be sure to check out my other images of these Camargue horses.
