About "Horses by the sea - watercolour painting at sunset"

About the artwork

This unusual watercolour painting shows a group of horses galloping freely along the waterline, caught in the warm light of the setting sun. The work was created as an experiment: normally I mainly paint people, but this foray into animals produced a surprisingly powerful result.The horses' reflections in the wet sand and the dramatic cloudy sky give the composition a dynamic and almost cinematic quality. The combination of soft brushstrokes and fluid watercolour technique allows the horizon, water and sky to blend into one another, while the dark silhouettes of the horses provide a strong contrast.This painting evokes feelings of freedom, nature and movement, capturing the beauty of the animal world in a poetic style. At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
